Wayne Young, Reuben Pitts and Sherry Davis all called about these two photos. They are of the old “morning coffee club” at Hardee’s. Pictured (from left) in the photo above are a Mr. Boykin, James “Admiral” Byrd and Paul Dunn. Pictured clockwise from left in the photo below are Robert Fountain, Carroll Gibbs, Carl Findley and Jerry Pryor. Sherry remembers them as the “McDonald’s coffee club” — many of them moved on to McDonald’s after Hardee’s closed.
