STANDING MEETINGS

OPTIMISTS — The Optimist Club of Fitzgerald meets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays at Shoney’s Restaurant.

KIWANIS CLUB — The Fitzgerald Kiwanis Club meets on Mondays from noon until 1 p.m. at Tom's.

LIONS CLUB — The Fitzgerald Lions Club meets at noon every first, second and fourth Tuesday at Dorminy Medical Center. On the third Tuesday of the month, the club meets in the social hall at St. William’s Catholic Church.

ROTARY CLUB — The Fitzgerald Rotary Club meets at noon Tuesdays at the Ben Hill County Senior Citizens Center.

ATHLETIC BOOSTERS — The Athletic Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the fieldhouse at Fitzgerald High School.

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS — The Recovery Zone, Narcotics Anonymous, meets Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8-9 .m. at 400 E. Sheridan. For more information, call 409-0961.

FITZGERALD WL&B COMMISSION — The Fitzgerald Water, Light & Bond Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31, in the conference room at the commission’s 200 N. Hooker St. address.

CBA — The Colony Business Association will meet at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, July 31, in the conference room at Colony Bankcorp.

BAND BOOSTERS — The Fitzgerald High School Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, August 4, in the band room at the school.

COUNTY COMMISSION — The Ben Hill County Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, in the meeting room of the courthouse annex, formerly Bill’s Dollar Store, at the corner of Pine and Sheridan.

TAX ASSESSORS — The Ben Hill County Board of Tax Assessors will meet Wednesday, August 6, at 9 a.m. in the conference room at the tax assessors’ office.
